CAVE

In my first year as an archaeology student on a primitive technology course, I was trusted with creating an improvised cave painting onto a large wall. I was captivated by the experience. Today, as an artist, I remain fascinated by Prehistoric art and I relate to this paraphrased sentiment : "As artists we have learned nothing new in millennia ..... these painters have invented everything" Picasso.
